Rnd 6: ch 1, sc around, join.
Rnd 7: ch 1, sc around in bk lps, join.
Rnds 8-9: ch 1, sc around, join. Join with
white at the end of rnd 9.
Rnd 10: ch 1, sc around in bk lps, join.
Rnd 11: ch 1, sc around in ft lps, join.
Rnd 12: ch 1, sc around in bk lps, join.
Rejoin with gold.
Rnd 13: ch 1, sc around in ft lps, join.
Rnds 14-15: ch 1, sc around, join.
Rnd 16: ch 1, sc around in bk lps, join. Fasten off.
Whipped Cream
With white, form an adjustable ring. Follow rnds 1-4 of spongecake. Ch 1, working in ft lps, 4 sc in each
sc around. Fasten off. Top Whip: ch 5, 4 sc in each ch across. Fasten off.
Strawberry
With red, form an adjustable ring. Rnd 1: ch 1, 5 sc in ring, join. Rnd 2: ch 1, 2 sc in first sc, sc around,
join. (6) Rnd 3: ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, join. (12) Rnds 4-5: ch 1, sc around, join. Fasten off.
With gold, form an adjustable ring.
